Carrie and LaQuita were both here this week. Angie is now coming every other week.
Both sessions went fairly well. Preston is a smart little bugger who seems to really know when the "play" that they are doing with him is truly "work"! LaQuita brought little and big trucks that were multi colored so we could work on little and big, as well as matching. His mimicking, once again was outstanding. His color matching not so much.
We're all ready for his big ABRS test on August 14th.
He will also have his annual review with Nikki to make sure he still qualifies for services through the county.
We have been singing Old McDonald a lot the last couple of days and he seems excited by it. Hopefully, it will jar him to join us or try to join us, soon. He is really communicating with us better and better-of course this does not mean he is talking. Mike's mom, Reba watched the boys this week and Preston locked himself in Mike's and my bedroom. She called me and I was at first trying to tell her how to jimmy the lock and then I just said "Yell through the door and ask him to open the door". She did. Then he opened it. That's a pretty big thing for us since his comprehension had been so low. It seems to increase nearly daily.
