We had a playdate with Zachary yesterday. It went very very well. The boys actually played TOGETHER. They had lots of fun. The interaction was really good and I loved getting to talk to Kate. They go to school together and actually their big sisters are in the same class (Juniors at Mill Valley). We've gotten together before but this was the first time that the boys actually seemed ot enjoy it as much as the mom's did.
I took Preston to school today to be in the childcare offered by PTA during class parties. Preston took a while to get warmed up. He really freaked out when we walked in the room. I was pretty sure we were heading home when I saw some of Cooper's classmates mom's because Preston was freaking out. We took about 5 trips to the classroom where the care was and then we took 5 trips back out...after 12 minutes or so of this, he finally removed his coat and indicated he would go back in the room. He did FINE. No issues at all just that rough beginning. I watched him when I got there and they were crab walking and Simon-sezing. He was following along well. I was told he did great and it looked like he did. YAY.
